International Overdose Awareness Day
We invite you to stop, reflect & honor their memory
On Monday, August 31 from 8AM - 8PM throughout the town, you will find empty chairs, a quiet symbol for the community members we have lost to overdose.
Attached to each chair will be a QR code that links to a map of the chair locations & a song that was created specifically for this day to honor all of the people lost to overdose in this community.
A link is listed below and a map of the chair locations will also be linked to this page soon.
Please share this with anyone who may be interested in reserving a chair to honor a loved one. There is a link below (Reserve a chair) with more details and a cell number to call.
Either the loved one or the person who lost their life to an overdose should have a connection to Winthrop.
